At the time of manufacturing, this MK.2 tested at a resolution of 8.26%. We do our best to source scintillation crystals that are at or better than our resolution threshold, but that isn’t always what we get. These devices have all of the same technology and capability of an MK.2 that meets our standards, the only difference is a substandard resolution. Therefore, we adjust the price accordingly and offer it to anyone who doesn’t mind a slightly wider peak! Resolution can also be impacted by factors such as tempurature and calibration method, meaning the number you get might not match the number shown here.
